Dr. Sunil Prakash

Dr. Sunil Prakash is one of the most senior and experienced kidney transplant surgeons in India. His expertise in the field of nephrology is remarkable and widely acclaimed. He has completed his medical education and fellowships from the top institutions of the country. He has considerable international experience and training, including scholarship from the International Society of Peritoneal Dialysis (FISPD) for training in advanced techniques in CAPD and other therapies at the Toronto Western Hospital, Toronto, Canada, in 2000. Dr. Prakash was also awarded the Fellowship of International Society of Nephrology (FISN) to train at University of Missouri, University Sciences Center, Columbia, USA, in 2002.

He is one of the best doctors in the area of Nephrology, Urology and Renal Transplant Management. Dr. Sunil Prakash has successfully conducted numerous hemodialysis sessionss and assisted more than 300 renal transplants. He has rich experience in the post-operative management of patients who have undergone kidney transplant procedure.

He is a Life Member of various international and national medical associations, including International Society of Nephrology, European Society of Dialysis and Transplantation, Asian Society of Transplantation, Association of Physicians of India and Indian Society of Nephrology to name a few. Dr. Prakash has published more than 40 papers in peer-reviewed indexed, national and international journals.
