Dr. Vibhu Bahl is an alumni of R.G. Kar Medical College, Calcutta (formerly Carmichael Medical School), one of the oldest and prestigious medical colleges in India. After graduating from there, he did his post ? graduation and Senior Residency in Orthopaedics from Central Institute of Orthopaedics, Safdarjang Hospital which is a 1600 bedded and one of the busiest tertiary care hospitals of India. Dr. Bahl was a Research Associate at Safdarjang Hospital and worked on a research project under the flagship of Indian Council of Medical Research.. Dr. Bahl did his Clinical Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction from Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore where he performed Primary and Revision Complex Knee and Hip Replacements. He did numerous total knee replacements using the Computer Navigation. Dr. Bahl was appointed as Asst. Professor at Sports Injury Centre, Safdarjang Hospital, which is the only centre of its kind in the country where he imparted training to budding arthroscopy surgeons in methods of treatment and surgical techniques of arthroscopy procedures. He has been performing arthroscopic procedures on knee such as ACL, PCL and multi-ligamentous reconstructions, as well as procedures for meniscus and cartilage pathologies as well. He has a special interest in the Shoulder Arthroscopy and performs surgeries for shoulder dislocations, rotator cuff repair and painful degenerative shoulder. Dr. Bahl has also worked as an Honorary Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon for Border Security Force and held weekly OPD at their hospital. Dr. Bahl has published a number of scientific articles in Indian and international indexed and non-indexed journals and has contributed to the numerous arthroscopy conferences working as a faculty member.
