He pioneered microsurgery in the Armed Forces and has vast experience of Uro-Oncology and Pediatric Urology. His work in Endo-Urology and Vascular reconstructions has won him international acclaim. He has performed several complicated genitourinary reconstructive operations including the very recent sex change or sex reassignment surgery.

Having completed Urology residency, Dr. Vikram joined R.G. Stone Urological Institute at Mumbai in March 2003 as an Associate Urologist. Endourology had always been an area of great interest to him and having worked in this area he got a deep insight into the subspecialty.

After completing post graduate degree in general surgery, Dr Aggarwal joined Army Hospital, Research and Referral, Delhi Cantt, the apex medical institute of armed forces of India for pursuing super-specialty training in Urology. During training he had the chance to work with few of the most renowned urologists of India. The training offered the exposure to all sort of a variety of urological cases. After completion of training, he joined Metro group of hospitals as urologist. Dr. Aggarwal had the opportunity to join Artemis Health institute, Gurgaon in 2011.
