A fluorescein angiogram is used to examine blood flow in the back of the eye. In this test, the doctor will dilate the eyes of the patient, take pictures, insert dye into the patient's body through an injection, and then take more pictures to see how the dye moves through the eye in order to approximate blood flow. Overall the Doctor was very professional and he explained everything to me before and after the procedure so I was very comfortable. However the appointments were not maintained according to schedule so there was a long waiting time to meet him. The other thing was that intercommunication between the Doctor and the hospital seemed to be missing because if I was given an appointment for my procedure, they should have known that the equipment was not available for my procedure instead of making me wait for so long.
