About Staphyloma
Staphyloma is a condition in which an underlying pigmented layer of eye tissue becomes visible due to thinning of the white part of the eye. This condition usually is caused by infection, trauma, or can be present at birth. Treatment of this condition can include adding tissue to the thinned area to prevent further deterioration.Dr. Yaser Habrawi graduated from University of Aleppo, Syria in 1980.
