Procedure/Description

Day 1

• During the first appointment, the dentist will examine the patient’s teeth and discuss the best ways to obtain a celebrity-white smile. 
• A digital smile app or software will be used to produce a 3-D model of the patient’s jaw after the completion of the selected procedure. This helps the patient to analyze whether the final results will work for them or not. 
• Once the treatment is approved both by the dentist and the patient, the following steps will be conducted. 

Day 2- Day 12

• If the patient requires a root canal or composite filling, the dentist will schedule a separate appointment for the same. 
• The patient will be advised to wait for at least 10 to 14 days before undergoing the next steps of the procedure. This is done to allow healing in the treated area.

Day 12 – Day 20

• Next, a dentist would perform a teeth whitening and gingivoplasty procedure for patients who don’t need veneers or dental implants. However, these two procedures would be performed at two different appointments, as the gums may become sensitive after a whitening procedure.  

Day 21 – Dental Veneers

• After the gums have properly healed, the dentist will reshape the tooth surface by removing the layer of enamel using a grinding tool. 
• Next, the dentist will make an impression of the reshaped teeth to prepare a mold.
• The impressions will be sent to the laboratory. And, the dentist will fit temporary veneers to cover the exposed tooth. This is done to avoid tooth sensitivity and prepare the patient for the final set of veneers. 

Day 21 – Dental Crowns

• The dentist will make an impression of the tooth to prepare a mold for the crown. 
• The impressions will be sent to the laboratory.

Day 28 – Dental Veneers

• The dentist will remove the temporary veneers and grind the teeth to create an uneven surface. 
• The look and fit of the veneers will be evaluated, followed by cementing them on the teeth. 
• The dentist will properly clean the mouth, teeth, and veneers to avoid any bacterial infection.
• The patient is free to leave the clinic after the procedure. However, if the procedure was performed under anesthesia, it is better to wait till its effect wears off. 

Day 28 – Dental Crowns

• The dentist will grind the teeth to create an uneven surface. 
• The look and fit of the crowns will be evaluated, followed by cementing them on the teeth. 
• The dentist will properly clean the mouth, teeth, and veneers to avoid any bacterial infection.
• The patient is free to leave the clinic after the procedure. However, if the procedure was performed under anesthesia, it is better to wait till its effect wears off.
