Intracorneal Ring Segment (ICRS) Implantation is a procedure used to treat myopia (nearsightedness), astigmatism, and keratoconus. In this procedure, the doctor makes an incision in the cornea in order to attach ring segments (small inserts) to it. The ring segments help adjust the shape of the cornea such that the vision of the patient improves.
