Bone Tumor Removal is an umbrella term for surgical procedures used to remove bone cancer. Bone cancers can be removed in a variety of ways, including limb-salvage surgery, amputation, cryosurgery, curettage, and/or surgery to remove bone cancer that has spread to other areas of the body. The main goals of these surgeries are to remove the cancerous areas, as well as small amounts of surrounding healthy tissue that might also develop cancer, but still attempt to leave as much of the rest of the body intact as possible.

In particular, he specializes in joint replacement surgery including the full flexed/high flex knee replacement for Asian and Middle Eastern patients. He has carried out more than 3000 knee replacements, hip replacements and shoulder replacements. He also specializes in sports injuries which include arthroscopic surgery of the knee, shoulder and ankle particularly ligament reconstruction of the knee.
Dr. Labib is a consultant in orthopedic surgery and traumatology since 2001. He graduated from Cairo University school of medicine in 1994 with an excellent Honored grade.
