Once the patient decides that South Korea will be their destination to get a new look, it is important to start following some dos and don’ts before packing those bags.

1. Stop taking any form of medication at least 1 week before the decided date of the surgery. These include aspirin, omega-3 tablet, herbal concoctions, and anything else that will cause the blood to lose its consistency and become thin. 
2. Do extensive research on the background and medical history of the doctor, as well as the associated clinic or hospital. It is important to ensure that there is no record of medical malpractice or disciplinary actions against the doctor. The testimonials and reviews are a great help for the same!
3. Choose a hospital or clinic with surgeons and other medical staff who are fluent in the English language. Not all doctors may know the language, and vital information can be lost when it is shared through a translator. 
4. Pick a state that has restaurants and hotels with English-speaking staff offering international cuisines. Since most of them have menus and options that are strictly Korean, a patient may not be able to find something they’ll feel comfortable eating or living in. 
5. If possible, a patient should travel to South Korea with a medical attendant as the recovery period can take a toll on the patient’s condition and mental state. With unfamiliar faces and homesickness lingering over, the patient’s condition can worsen, let alone improve.
