Dr. Sachin Jadhav

Dr. Sachin Jadhav, a Consultant in Clinical Haematology & BMT Physician was trained at Christian Medical College, Vellore where he had 6 years of experience in managing patients with haematologic disorders. He had the opportunity to be part of the center in Vellore that did about 100 stem cell transplants in a year. Besides autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplantation, Dr. Jadhav has had extensive training and experience in managing patients with both benign and malignant hematological disorders. He has also treated patients with benign conditions like aplastic anemia, immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) and coagulation disorders.

Dr. Sachin has also worked in the clinical pathology laboratory which diagnoses coagulation disorders and had a therapeutic clinic for patients with hemophilia and other coagulation disorders. Dr. Jadhav has had extensive experience in managing patients with newly diagnosed and relapsed leukemias and lymphomas and their ongoing care up to stem cell transplantation. He has spent a year in Vancouver, Canada in a Leukemia/Bone Marrow Transplant fellowship. Subsequently, he has spent about 2 months in London with Dr. Bobby Gaspar's team at the Great Ormond Street Hospital. There he has received training in the diagnosis and management of immunodeficiency disorders and also spent a month in the pediatric bone marrow transplant unit.
