Dr. Zakariyya Al-Mrayat

Dr. Zakariyya is an experienced specialist in GI endoscopy (gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and ERCP)Dr. Zakariyyacompleted his MBChB degree from Ninewells Hospital and Medical School (UK) in 1993. After that he worked at King Hussain Medical City, Jordan, where he did general medical residency followed by gastrointestinal and hepatology fellowship. He then obtained the certification in Jordanian Board in General Medicine and the Jordanian Board in Gastroenterology.

He then went to the UK to further gain training in medicine and gastroenterology. While in United Kingdom, he obtained the membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP (UK)) and the Specialty Certificate in Gastroenterology from the Royal College of Physicians. He also underwent training in advanced endoscopic techniques (ERCP and therapeutic endoscopy). He joined King Hussain Medical City as Consultant in Gastroenterology and Hepatologyand worked for 2 years in the private sector in UAE as consultant gastroenterologist.
