Dr. Parviz Dolati is an experienced Neurosurgeon who performs around 300-500 major brain and spine surgeries every year.
He carries over 20 years of experiences in treating patients with Traumatic brain or spinal injuries and manages over 30,000 outpatient cases at the hospitals.
He is a highly trained and skilled surgeon, and have done special courses in neuro-ICU from University of Toronto. With a keen interest in instrumentation and surgical stabilization of the spine, he has performed numerous surgical and non- surgical treatments of degenerative and traumatic spinal injuries. He is also specialized in management of spine and spinal cord tumors and spinal vascular malformations.
Dr. Dolati also offers services in endovascular treatment of cerebral aneurysms, AVMs, DAVFs, Carotid angioplasty and stenting (for carotid stenosis) and other brain and spinal vascular abnormalities. He specializes in endovascular management of patients with acute stroke using Solitaire stent and Penumbra.
He is also skilled in the advanced neurosurgical techniques such as Neuro-navigation, Brain Lab, Stryker iplannet, iMRI, fMRI and 3D Slicer. He has been involves in an advanced study of Skull Base Surgery at International neuroscience Institute of Professor Madjid Samii and Professor Fahlbusch, Hannover, Germany. He is an active researcher and been part of several teaching universities such as University of Toronto, University of Calgary and Harvard Medical School and many others.
