Career Profile
Prof. Sibal has been working as theGroup Medical Director, Apollo Hospitals Group since 2005 and aSenior Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, Delhi since 1997.
In 1997, he establishedthepediatric gastroenterology and hepatolgoy department at Apollo Hospitals Delhi. He helped set up thefirst successful liver transplant programme in India in 1998. In 2014, 1547 (422 Liver and 1125 Kidney) transplants were performed across the Hospital Group with Delhi performing 1065 (304 Liver and 761 Kidney) transplants. Thus, Apollo Delhi continued to remain the busiest solid organ transplant centre in the world and the Apollo Transplant Program the busiest solid organ transplant program for the 3rd consecutive year.
