Dr. Prasad Rao P. Voleti is currently Director of Department of Internal Medicine & Geriatrics. He has established Academic & Clinical department of Internal Medicine at Medanta Hospital. He has over 3 decades of experience in Internal Medicine. Dr. Prasad Rao Voleti has worked in various branches of Medicine such as Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Respiratory Medicine and Diabetes Mellitus at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Gateshead UK and Lister Hospital, Stevenage UK and later on at King Fahad National Guard Medical Services in Riyad (KSA). After returning to India he was worked as a Senior Consultant Physician at Holy Family Hospital and Apollo Hospital, New Delhi before taking up the current assignment at Medanta Hospital. Dr. Prasad Rao Voleti has vast experience in multisystem diseases such as Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Hypothyroid, Immune Disorders and Tropical Diseases such as Dengue, Malaria, Typhoid, Chikungunia and Typhus. Dr. Voleti is academically active and established the weekly seminars and journal clubs at Apollo Hospital. He has been a guide and teacher to many students of DNB in Internal Medicine and Family Medicine. He has also given talks at various national seminars and contributed articles to professional journals and lay press.
