Dr. Rajeev K Sharma

Dr. Sharma presently working as Senior Consultant Orthopaedics & Joint Replacement Surgeon at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi (the first JCI accredited hospital in India) since 1998. Formerly he was associated with All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi as senior faculty member (1992-1998). He has performed over 5000 primary & revision Total Knee Replacement Surgeries, Unicondylar Knee arthroplasty, Total Hip Replacement and Surface Replacements of hip (BHR). He has been a keen user of mobile bearing Total Knee Implants. Conducted hundreds of surgeries using high flexion knee implants. He is one of the first user of computer navigated Total Knee replacement in India. He has developed proficiency in minimally invasive (small cut) Total Knee Replacement with minimal blood loss. He has delivered a guest lecture in British society of hip and knee surgeries at Manchester, U.K apart from delivering over 300 lectures in national and international scientific meetings and has published his work extensively.
