Group of Hospitals, Mumbai, MS (Orthopedics) from LTMGH & LTMMC, Mumbai, and DNB (Orthopedics) from Diplomate National Board, New Delhi, Dr. Rajiv Thukral is a Senior Consultant at the Max Hospital in Noida. Prior to joining this hospital, he was associated with the Indraprastha Apollo Hospital as a Senior Registrar. With over 15 years of experience in the field of Orthopedics, he has a special interest in performing Knee Surgeries (Primary & Revision Arthroplasty, Arthroscopy, Reconstruction & Trauma), especially Intra-articular Fracture Fixation. He is an expert at performing all types of Primary & Revision Joint Replacement Surgeries, including Articular Surface Hip Replacements, Unipolar & Proxima Hips, Unicompartment Replacements, Mobile-bearing High-Flexion Knees, Shoulder Replacement, and more. He is also proficient in the field of Complication Management including Infections, Aseptic Loosening, Bone Defects, Ankylosing Spondylitis and is also highly skilled in Therapeutic Knee Arthroscopies for Intra-articular Fracture Fixations, Meniscal Injuries, Loose Bodies, Ligament Reconstruction & Debridement of Infection. He has undergone wide training programs, special courses, and attended various workshops including the AO (Basic Course) from AO International (Ahmedabad), AO (Advance Course) from AO International (New Delhi), and a Diploma in Orthopedics from the College of Physicians & Surgeons (Mumbai). He has been bestowed with the fellowship of various prestigious organizations, including the College of Physicians & Surgeons, Mumbai (FCPS), FJRA, Germany, IOSUK, United Kingdom and the Pelviacetabular Trauma Fellowship (AO) from the Hospital for Special Surgery, New York, USA. Dr. Thukral is also a member of many esteemed organizations, including the Indian Orthopedic Association (IOA), North Zone IOA, Indian Society of Hip and Knee Surgeons (ISHKS), Noida Orthopedic Forum, Delhi Orthopedic Association (DOA) and Bombay Orthopedic Society (BOS).
