Dr. Waseem Mostafa Mahoul

Dr.Waseem has completed his medical degree from the University of Aleppo, Faculty of Medicine. He has more than nine years of experience in ophthalmology and ophthalmological-related surgery. He is certified as Ophthalmology Specialist from the Ministry of Health in Syria and also he worked as a specialist ophthalmologist in the Eyes Specialized Hospital in Aleppo, Syria where he also spent one year in an internship training program to fine tune his expertise and his surgical skills in cornea and anterior segment. Then he continued to work in the same hospital as a specialist in Corneal Department where he successfully contributed to the treatment of many cases and performed a large and diverse number of complex surgical procedures. In addition, He was a member of the specialist team responsible for training of resident doctors at Eye Specialized Hospital. Dr. Waseem worked as a specialist ophthalmology at Hatoum Eye clinic in Syria. Dr.Waseem has a special experience in the cornea and anterior segment such as the keratoconus, corneal dystrophies, corneal degenerations, and pterygium. He also has a good experience in the cataract and its surgery such as phacoemulsification as well as the management of squint cases and surgery.
