About Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy Implantation

This implantation procedure is generally used for patients with heart arrhythmias (irregular heartbeats). In this procedure, a pacemaker is placed into the area bellow the collarbone. The pacemaker can then monitor the patient's heart rate, and emit small electrical pulses when necessary to correct any irregularities.
