About Hysteroscopy

Hysteroscopy is a procedure in which the inner wall and cavity of the uterus is visualized. It is performed using a hysteroscope, a thin, lighted tube that is inserted into the vagina to examine the cervix and inside of the uterus. Hysteroscopy is done to find the cause of abnormal bleeding, determining the cause of infertility, to remove growths in the uterus, such as fibroids or polyps
