About Orchidopexy

A male child is born with two testicles placed inside the scrotum sack. The testis are present inside the abdominal cavity and they descend into the scrotum through inguinal canal just before the birth. This is required because sperm production requires lower temperature than the normal body temperature. If this thing fails to happen then doctors make sure to correct the problem with a surgery to restore the normal reproductive health of the baby. The procedure involves making small inscisions near the pubic region and has a good success rate over all.
