About Varicocele Surgery Open Unilateral

The procedure involves making an inscision above the testicles for gaining access to the underlying veins. Varicocele means an obstruction in the flow of blood and this leads to pain and swelling in the veins entering the scrotum sac. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia.
