About Canthoplasty

Canthoplasty is a surgical procedure that shortens the lower eyelids in order to decrease sagging. In this surgery, part of a certain tendon is removed, excess skin is removed, and the lower lid is attached to where the tendon used to be. This surgery is performed under local anesthesia, and can be used to correct drooping eyelids.
