About Hip Replacement - Single

Hip replacement (single) is also known as a unilateral hip replacement. It is an orthopedic procedure in which the surgeon removes the damaged joint from one side of the hip and replaces it with a prosthetic joint. This surgery is performed under general anesthesia.
