About Knee Ligament Surgery

Posterior Cruciate Ligament (PCL) Surgery is a surgical procedure used to replace the ligament in the knee known as the PCL. In this surgery, the doctor will make incisions around the knee and insert an arthroscope (small tube with camera/light) to view the area. He or she will then replace the torn ligament with another tissue graft. The doctor will then close the incisions made during the surgery.
