Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is an imaging procedure used to visualize the retina (tissue layer in the back of the eye). The test uses electromagnetic waves to form an image of the layers of the retina so that the doctor can measure their thicknesses. The test can be used to look for problems with the retina.
