Pelvic Adhesiolysis is a procedure done to break up adhesions (scar tissue), in patients who suffer from chronic abdominal and pelvic pain, as a result of long standing adhesions. Adhesions commonly result from abdominal and pelvic surgical procedures and may result in intestinal obstruction, infertility, chronic pain, or complicate subsequent operations.
