Presacral Neurectomy is the surgical removal of the presacral plexus - the group of nerves that conducts the pain signal from the uterus to the brain. Presacral Neurectomy is employed for treatment of conditions causing chronic pelvic pain. Post treatment, pain signals are not transmitted at all for that area.
