About Pyeloplasty

Pyeloplasty is the surgical reconstruction or revision of the renal pelvis to drain and decompress the kidney. The procedure is used for treating the junction between pelvis(area where urine is collected in the kidney) and ureters (tubes which bring urine from kidney to urinary bladder). The procedure helps in reconstructing the junction and helps restore the normal flow of urine from the body.
