About Shoulder Tendon Reconstruction

Shoulder Tendon Reconstruction is a surgical procedure used to treat problems related to shoulder tendons. In this surgery, the patient will be placed under regional or general anesthesia. The doctor will reconstruct the tendon as necessary by either sowing a torn tendon back together, reattaching the tendon to surrounding tissue and/or bone, or using another graft to reconstruct the tendon. The surgery can be performed arthroscopically or through open surgery.
