About Tympanoplasty

Tympanoplasty is a surgery used to reconstruct a damaged eardrum. Specifically, it repairs the tympanic membrane using a graft. In some cases, during tympanoplasty, the surgeon might also address the bones of the middle ear. This surgery is meant to improve hearing and sound conduction in the ear.
