About Uretric Reimplantation

Ureteric reimplantation is a surgical procedure used to correct the function of the ureter tubes (tubes that connect the kidney to the bladder). It is a procedure generally used for patients that have urine backflow into the kidneys due to the malfunction of these tubes. In this surgery, the patient will be placed under anesthesia. The doctor will make an incision in the abdomen to access the tubes, perform the reimplantation and correct the positioning of the tubes, and then close the incision.
