About Vasectomy

Vasectomy is a procedure used to prevent a man from being able to produce offspring. In vasectomy, the vas deferens tubes in the male reproductive system are cut, tied, or clamped, which prevents sperm from entering the semen produced by the male patient. Thus, the male patient becomes infertile, because his semen does not contain any sperm that could fertilize an egg.
