About Capsule Endoscopy

Capsule endoscopy is a diagnostic procedure used for taking images of the parts of digestive tract which cannot be viewed with the help of endoscope. The doctor makes you swallow a small capsule like device which has a camera and lightening mechanism in it. as it travel through the length of the alimentary canal, it takes the pictures of the tract which are later used for diagnosis of various problem of alimentary canal.
