About Lung Biopsy

Lung biopsy is a procedure in which the doctor takes a tissue sample from the lung in order to test it for certain conditions or diseases. In this procedure, the doctor will insert a needle or similar device into the lung, obtain the sample, and then send it to the lab for testing.
