Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant (also known as stem cell transplant) uses transplanted bone marrow and/or stem cells to replace the diseased bone marrow of the patient. Therefore, children that undergo this treatment usually have leukemia, lymphoma, or other similar conditions.
