Pterygium Surgery is used to treat an eye condition known as pterygium (also known as surfer\'s eye). In this condition, the patient develops a benign pink growth on the eye. In some cases, the growth can interfere with vision. In pterygium surgery, the doctor usually removes the growth and uses a tissue graft to patch up the area.
