Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur performs 205 different procedures. Click on a procedure name to see more details and to view doctors for that specialty.
Coronary angioplasty is used to remove buildup from the inside of arterial walls, and in general, improve blood flow. In this procedure, the doctor uses a catheter to place a deflated balloon into the blocked area. Inflating the balloon helps reduce or remove the blockage, thus restoring blood flow. In some cases, a stent (small mesh tube) is used alongside the balloon to help keep the artery open.
