On completing his MBBS in Rajasthan, Dr. Goel went on to pursue an MD in Radio-diagnosis and a DM in Neuroradiology from Sawai Mansingh Medical College (Jaipur) and National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (Bangalore), respectively. After spending nine years working in the healthcare industry, Dr. Goel enrolled himself at the Montreal Neurological Institute as a research fellow. The next two years played an immense role in shaping his interest in acute strokes. During the training program in Canada, Dr. Goel also had the opportunity to manage 2000 cases of spine pain.
Currently serving as the Director & Head of Neuro-intervention Surgery at Medanta, Dr. Gaurav Goel is actively designing protocols that can reduce the treatment time in Acute Strokes.
